CSA Announces Opening of New Office in Trinidad
CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA) is pleased to announce that in early January 2011, it relocated its Caribbean regional headquarters to a larger, more centrally located office in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

CSA Awarded BOEMRE Task Order for PEIS
CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA) is pleased to announce that the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE) has officially awarded CSA a task order to develop the first Geological and Geophysical (G&G) Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for areas in the mid and south Atlantic. The PEIS will evaluate potential environmental effects of multiple G&G activities, such as seismic surveys, that will be conducted to inform future decisions regarding oil, natural gas and renewable energy development on the Outer Continental Shelf in the mid- and south Atlantic planning areas.
BOEM Awards Contract for Mid-Atlantic Study to CSA Ocean Sciences Inc.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEM) today announced it has awarded nearly $3 million to CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. to conduct an environmental and archaeological study on mid-Atlantic deepwater hard bottom habitats and shipwrecks.

CSA and SeaRobotics to Conduct Bathymetric Survey – St. Lucie Estuary
CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA), a leader in Marine Environmental Sciences and Services, has partnered with SeaRobotics Corporation to assist in the conduct of the shallow water bathymetric survey of the St. Lucie Estuary for the Martin County Oyster Reef Restoration project.
CSA Awarded 5-Year NEPA Contract by MMS
CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA) is pleased to announce that is has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the Minerals Management Service (MMS) to prepare NEPA Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments, and other documentation for alternative energy projects. The GSA Schedule-based contract vehicle has one base and four option years, with a total capacity of $23 M. CSA has named Mr. Will Sloger as the Program Manager for CSA’s contract. Mr. Sloger is particularly well suited for the role, as he served the U.S. Navy as Section Head for NEPA Compliance for NAVFAC Southeast prior to joining CSA.
CSA Study – Evaluate Marine Productivity for the OCS Planning Areas
CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA) was recently awarded the project “Evaluation of Marine Productivity Study for the OCS Planning Areas” by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service (MMS). This study will update the marine productivity estimates for the MMS Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Oil and Gas Leasing Program that CSA initially developed in 1990.

CSA Ocean Sciences Inc.- Martin County Oyster Reef Restoration Project
CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA) is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Martin County to manage the County’s Oyster Reef Restoration Project, which is being funded by a grant as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and administered by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Construction is scheduled to begin on 17 August.
