With the introduction of our Internet-based, global, real-time software solution our acoustic team is able to detect, classify, locate, mitigate, monitor, and archive natural, biological, and artificial sounds. This unique solution for acoustic monitoring utilizes SONS-DCL software, which can accommodate input from a variety of sources, including towed arrays, fixed buoys, autonomous recorders, and gliders. This system can be used in both nearshore and offshore waters for a variety of purposes such as bioacoustics monitoring, population density estimates, sound source characterization, facility security, or other research/industry requirements.
