Stuart, Florida – The Ocean Sound & Marine Life service line of CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA) is offering a course on Marine Protected Species Observation and Bioacoustic Monitoring. This course meets BOEM seismic mitigation regulations. The three-day course will be offered June 7, 8, 9 in Stuart, Florida, at the Courtyard Marriott.
Training agenda will be as follows:
Thursday, June 7th, 2012
- 7:30am – 5:30pm – PSO Classroom instruction at hotel
Friday, June 8th, 2012
- 7:30am – 10:00am – PSO Classroom testing at hotel
- 11:00am – 5:30pm – BAM Course & Workstation instruction at hotel
Saturday, June 9th, 2012
- 7:00am – Shuttle to boat
- 8:00am – 5:00pm – Field instruction for PSO & BAM onboard boat
- 6:00pm – Shuttle to hotel
The price for the combined PSO/BAM training course and BOEM certification is $1,500.00. Full payment is required by May 25th. Late payments will be accepted after the 25th at the price of $1,800.00. Payments can be made via personal check or money order. The course registration form must accompany payments.
