CSA scientists are proud to present a seminar on the following topic:
“Submerged Aquatic Vegetation Mitigation Through Wind Wave and Boat Wake Reduction” – Friday, February 4, at 9:25 a.m.
Erin Hodel, Senior Scientist at CSA, will be presenting the results of a large-scale seagrass mitigation pilot project undertaken by the North Carolina Department of Transportation using Atlantic Reefmaker technology to reduce wave energy and increase cover of submerged aquatic vegetation in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Co-authors are Dr. Mark Fonseca (CSA) and Phillip Todd (Atlantic Reefmaker).
