The dive operations at CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. represent an essential component of our services and an integral part of many of our field sampling programs that inform our nearshore projects.

CSA is a certified corporate member of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS), and all divers are certified in SCUBA by an internationally recognized organization and trained as specialty divers for utilizing enriched air (Nitrox). 

In addition, all divers are trained in American Red Cross cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid and are experienced with Federal/Industry dive safety practices as set up the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI).

CSA’s commitment to safety and excellence in our dive practices is demonstrated by our superior safety record and customer satisfaction levels. We have prepared and conducted Dive Safety Plans for the USACE, U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, and numerous international oil and gas operators. CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. also maintains a network of professional commercial divers to provide project-specific operational support and deepwater and ultra-deepwater capabilities.

Remote Sensing Surveys – Side-scan sonar, multibeam 3D imaging, magnetometer, sub-bottom profiling, bathymetric scanning sonar, including the deployment and use of our growing fleet of autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs) and uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) for mapping and mosaicking;

Marine Wildlife – Protected Species Observers and Marine Mammal Observers;
