Since 1970, CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA) has served clients in the offshore energy, defense, and telecommunication markets, providing marine scientific consulting and operational support for a range of multidisciplinary marine projects in the U.S. and internationally.
Global Reach
CSA is headquartered in Stuart, Florida; has domestic branch offices in Texas, Louisiana, Rhode Island, and California; and has international offices in Nicosia, Cyprus; Vitória, Brazil; Perth, Australia; Paramaribo, Suriname; and Port of Spain, Trinidad.
For regions in which we do not have a branch office, we develop in-country partnerships in order to offer our clients cost-effective solutions that leverage regional expertise, personnel, equipment, and facilities. As members of TRACE International, CSA is also committed to the ethical conduct of business in our activities and those of our partners.
Sea the Difference
CSA’s five decades of experience in marine and aquatic studies from local rivers to the deep ocean includes sampling, monitoring, mapping, permitting, baseline surveys, impact assessment, mitigation, and restoration. We have conducted thousands of offshore projects in marine and coastal waters in the U.S. and in more than 70 countries internationally. CSA’s team of industry-leading Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) offer timely and cost-efficient marine scientific, operational, and data collection services for a range of surveys from shallow coastal waters to ultra-deep ocean environments.
CSA’s strategic approach to providing robust services and defensible science is underpinned by a quartet of ocean science disciplines (impact assessment, risk and compliance, spill response, and statistically rigorous designs). From an expansive portfolio of ruggedized equipment and coastal survey vessels to advanced marine robotics and autonomous platforms, CSA has data collection and analysis in coastal and marine environments down to a science.
CSA also uses a Safety and Environmental Management System (SEMS) approach that ensures adherence to the strictest international quality assurances and quality controls (QA/QC) and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) requirements.
